The beginning of Spring coincides with Aires season so it holds a lot of momentum. Those first moments of catching a magnolia tree blossoming or cherry blossom leaves littering the ground like a petaled carpet inspire me to relax into the change.

Spring’s Full Moons & A Tiny Note About Their Astrological Transits

As the full moons of Spring approach (April 1 - Pink Moon & May 1 - Flower Moon), I am thinking a lot about how predictable the moon is as far as external changes go and is always in a state of transition. The Pink Moon is so named because of the “early spring bloom of a wildflower…” (The Old Farmers Almanac). Which is way less mystical than I imagined. Ha! However this pink full moon is in the balance seeking sign of Libra (Chani.com). While I love a Libra, my hope is that I don’t get indecisive in this moon’s wake as I am an air sign stellium. YIKES!

In May, with the Flower Moon comes a bonus full moon called a Blue Moon (Almanac.com) on the last day of May.

The Full Flower moon on May 1st is in the mysterious and loyal sign of Scorpio and at the end of the month - May 31st - we have a Full Blue Moon in the fiery and adventurous sign of Sagittarius (Chani.com).

Needless to say, Spring is bringing change.

Octavia Butler & Change

One of the statements, about change, that sticks with me is in Octavia Butler’s Parable of the Sower:

“All that you touch

You Change.

All that you Change

Changes you.

The only lasting truth

is Change.

God

is Change.”

Tarot Cards to Inspire Your Creativity in Times of Change - Spring Archetypes

Truly change is the only constant we encounter as we continue to move through the seasons. Spring brings in momentum in Aires Season  - I like to think of it as a time to utilize Wheel of Fortune energy [Ouroboros in The Deck of N0NE]. Settle into deep earth and luxurious energy in Taurus season - a time to utilize Empress energy [Savage in The Deck of N0NE]. Breathe deeply and have a little fun in Gemini Season - a time to utilize Learn Lighters energy.

A few prompts from The Book of N0NE to use on your Spring journey are below. I invite you to write, sketch, paint, mold clay, collage, color, and/or utilize your creative energy using these prompts.

Writing Prompts

Ritual Prompt for Ouroboros

Create an altar for your destiny: on a full moon, sit with yourself quietly, ask “if no one told me no” what would I do? Write down what you discover. Find a windowsill or small space to build your altar. Add items that remind you of the time you’ve spent with your destiny.

Ritual Prompt for Savage

What does being abundant in the moment mean to you? How can you integrate small reminders of your abundance into your everyday life?

Ritual Prompt for Learn Lighters

In a distant future where memory is stored in constellations and creativity is a form of renewable energy, there exists a sacred guild known as the Citrines. These beings are called to moments of transformation—when raw power, ancestral memory, or creative force first ignites within them.

A Citrine does not simply have power. They must study it, listen to it, and shape it.

Some inherit abilities from their lineage—echoes of drumbeats that bend time, hands that grow architecture from soil, voices that translate dreams into living matter. Others awaken suddenly, their gifts arriving like lightning: unpredictable, luminous, and demanding devotion.

But power without learning fractures reality.

Your role is to imagine yourself at the moment you are called to become a Citrine.

  • What has just awakened within you?

  • Is it something ancient that remembers you, or something entirely new that you must teach how to exist?

  • What past experiences are returning as guides—or warnings?

  • Who or what teaches you to wield this power? (An ancestor? A future self? A sentient archive? A planet?)

  • What happens if you refuse to learn?

Create a response in any form:

  • Write a story, poem, or incantation from the moment of your awakening

  • Sketch or paint what your power looks like as it forms

  • Collage symbols, textures, and fragments that represent your learning process

Let your creation hold both tension and possibility—this is not mastery.
This is the sacred, messy, luminous act of becoming.

Final Greeting

May this Spring bloom on your tongue and stir against the wind of your will to become everything you were designed to be. Xoxo The Intuitive Alchemist | The Deck of N0NE
